폰펫 개인정보처리방침

폰펫(이하 "앱")의 데이터는 기본적으로 이용자의 휴대폰에만 저장됩니다. 앱 1.4.0부터 선택 기능으로 로그인과 펫 동기화가 생겼습니다. 로그인하지 않으면 이전과 같이 어떤 정보도 개발자의 서버로 보내지 않습니다. 로그인한 경우에 다루는 정보는 아래 5항에 밝힙니다. 앱에는 광고와 분석 도구가 없습니다.

1. 휴대폰에 저장하는 정보

• 펫 상태: 지어 준 이름, 배부름·기분·청결 수치, 돌본 횟수와 날 수, 돌봄 종류별 횟수, 체형 값과 성격, 재주 연습 진도, 받은 기념 도장과 꾸미기, 펫의 잠자는 시간, 숨바꼭질 보상을 받은 횟수, 함께 살기 시작한 시각, 마지막으로 돌본 시각, 재운 시각
• 돌봄 기록: 돌본 시각과 누른 버튼(밥·놀기·씻기·간식·재우기), 위젯·앱·펫 중 어디서 돌봤는지

이 정보는 앱 안에서 펫을 보여 주는 데에만 쓰이며, 앱을 삭제하면 휴대폰에서 지워집니다.

2. Android 백업

앱은 Android 자동 백업을 사용합니다. 휴대폰의 백업 설정이 켜져 있으면 1항의 정보가 이용자 Google 계정의 비공개 영역에 백업되고, 앱을 다시 설치하거나 새 휴대폰으로 옮길 때 복원됩니다. 휴대폰 제조사의 백업·기기 이전 기능을 쓰면 그 기능으로도 옮겨질 수 있습니다.

• 개발자는 이 백업을 열어 볼 수 없습니다.
• 앱을 삭제해도 백업은 바로 지워지지 않을 수 있습니다.
• 휴대폰 설정의 백업 항목에서 끌 수 있습니다.
• 접근성 서비스와 움직임 센서로 얻은 정보는 저장하지 않으므로 백업에 들어가지 않습니다.

이전 코드

설정의 "폰 바꾸기"에서 이전 코드를 만들면 1항의 정보 전부가 코드나 파일 안에 담깁니다. 코드는 휴대폰 안에서 만들어지며 개발자에게 전송되지 않습니다. 어디로 보낼지는 이용자가 직접 고르므로, 다른 사람에게 보내지 않도록 주의해 주세요. 새 휴대폰에 코드를 넣으면 그 휴대폰의 펫과 기록은 코드의 내용으로 바뀝니다. 접근성 서비스와 움직임 센서로 얻은 정보는 코드에 들어가지 않습니다.

3. 접근성 서비스 사용

"홈 화면 산책" 기능을 켜면, 펫이 홈 화면의 앱 아이콘과 위젯 위를 돌아다닐 수 있도록 Android 접근성 서비스(AccessibilityService) API를 사용합니다. 이 기능은 이용자가 앱 안의 안내를 읽고 동의한 뒤 휴대폰 설정에서 직접 켜야 동작합니다.

사용하는 정보

• 홈 화면(런처)에 놓인 앱 아이콘·폴더·위젯의 위치와 크기: 펫이 딛고 설 자리를 정하는 데 씁니다.
• 홈 화면 페이지가 옆으로 넘어간 정도(스크롤 위치): 펫이 어느 페이지에 있는지 알고, 페이지를 넘기면 따라오거나 다른 페이지에 숨는 데 씁니다.
• 지금 보이는 화면이 홈 화면 또는 폰펫 앱인지 여부: 다른 앱을 열면 펫이 숨도록 하는 데 씁니다.
• 새 알림이 도착한 시점: 알림 배너가 내려올 때 펫이 놀라는 동작에 씁니다.

사용하지 않는 정보

• 다른 앱의 화면 내용, 이용자가 입력하는 글자
• 알림의 제목, 내용, 보낸 앱
• 홈 화면 아이콘에 적힌 앱 이름

위 정보는 휴대폰 안에서 펫을 움직이는 순간에만 쓰이고, 저장하거나 기록하거나 외부로 보내지 않습니다. 앱은 접근성 서비스로 화면을 누르거나 설정을 바꾸는 등 어떠한 조작도 하지 않습니다. 이 기능은 휴대폰의 설정 → 접근성에서 언제든 끌 수 있습니다.

4. 움직임 센서

펫이 보이는 동안(홈 화면 또는 폰펫 앱, 화면이 켜져 있을 때)에만 휴대폰의 기울기(중력 방향)를 읽어, 폰을 기울이거나 뒤집으면 펫이 미끄러지거나 새 아래쪽을 땅으로 삼게 합니다. 이 값은 그 순간에만 쓰고 저장하거나 외부로 보내지 않습니다. 별도 권한이 필요하지 않습니다.

펫이 보이는 동안에만 배터리 잔량과 충전 여부를 읽어, 충전기를 꽂으면 펫이 잠들고 배터리가 적으면 느릿느릿 움직이게 합니다. 이 값은 그 순간에만 쓰고 저장하거나 외부로 보내지 않습니다. 별도 권한이 필요하지 않습니다.

사진 카드를 공유할 때 만드는 이미지에는 펫 그림, 이름, 함께한 날만 들어가며, 어디로 보낼지는 이용자가 공유 창에서 직접 고릅니다. 홈 화면은 담지 않습니다.

5. 계정과 펫 동기화(선택)

설정의 "계정"에서 이메일 또는 구글 계정으로 로그인하면, 폰을 바꾸거나 여러 폰에서 같은 펫을 키울 수 있도록 펫 저장을 개발자의 서버에 보관합니다.

수집하는 정보와 목적

• 이메일 주소: 계정 식별, 가입·비밀번호 재설정 때 확인 코드 발송, 계정 삭제 요청 확인
• 비밀번호(이메일 가입만): 원문은 저장하지 않고 되돌릴 수 없는 형태(해시)로만 저장합니다
• 구글 계정 고유 번호(구글 로그인만): 같은 사람인지 확인하는 데만 씁니다. 구글 계정의 이름과 프로필 사진은 받지 않고, 구글이 발급한 토큰은 확인에만 쓰고 저장하지 않습니다
• 펫 저장: 1항의 정보 전부(설정의 "이전 코드"와 같은 내용). 다른 폰과 펫을 맞추는 데 씁니다
• 로그인 기록: 로그인 상태를 유지하기 위한 세션(만료 시각). 접속 IP와 기기 정보는 저장하지 않습니다
• 만 14세 이상 확인 시각: 가입할 때 확인했다는 기록

로그인과 가입 시도 횟수를 제한하기 위해 접속 IP 주소를 서버 메모리에서 1분 동안만 사용하며, 저장하지 않습니다.

접근성 서비스(3항)와 움직임 센서(4항)로 얻은 정보는 서버로 보내지 않습니다. 이 정보는 처음부터 저장하지 않으므로 펫 저장에도 들어 있지 않습니다.

보관 기간과 파기

• 계정과 펫 저장은 이용자가 계정을 삭제할 때까지 보관하고, 삭제하면 바로 지웁니다.
• 이메일 확인을 마치지 않은 가입은 24시간 뒤 지웁니다.
• 확인 코드는 10분 뒤 쓸 수 없게 되고, 로그인 기록은 로그아웃하거나 90일 동안 쓰지 않으면 지웁니다.

계정 삭제

앱의 설정 → 계정 → "계정 삭제", 또는 앱이 없어도 계정 삭제 페이지에서 이메일 확인 코드로 삭제할 수 있습니다. 삭제하면 서버의 정보는 모두 지워지고, 휴대폰 안의 펫은 그대로 남습니다.

처리를 맡기는 곳

• Supabase, Inc.(미국): 데이터베이스 운영. 데이터는 대한민국(서울) 지역에 저장됩니다
• Amazon Web Services, Inc.(미국): 서버 운영. 서버는 대한민국(서울) 지역에 있습니다
• Google LLC(미국): 구글 로그인, 확인 코드 메일 발송(Gmail). 발송 과정에서 이메일 주소와 확인 코드가 Google의 국외 서버를 거칠 수 있습니다

위 업체는 서비스 제공에 필요한 범위에서만 정보를 처리하며, 이용 기간은 위 보관 기간과 같습니다.

6. 권한과 인터넷 연결

• 접근성 서비스: 위 3항의 "홈 화면 산책" 기능에만 사용합니다.
• 인터넷: 5항의 로그인과 펫 동기화에만 사용합니다. 로그인하지 않으면 개발자의 서버와 통신하지 않습니다.

앱은 연락처·위치·사진·마이크·카메라 등에 접근하지 않습니다. 접근성 서비스로 얻은 정보(3항)는 온라인 기능이 추가된 뒤에도 휴대폰 밖으로 보내지 않습니다.

7. 아동

만 14세 미만은 계정을 만들 수 없습니다. 로그인하지 않고 앱을 쓰는 것은 나이와 관계없이 가능하며, 이때는 어떤 정보도 수집하지 않습니다.

8. 이용자의 권리

이용자는 언제든 자신의 정보를 열람·정정·삭제하거나 처리를 멈추도록 요청할 수 있습니다. 앱의 설정 → 계정에서 직접 확인하고 삭제할 수 있으며, 아래 문의처로 요청해도 됩니다.

9. 방침의 변경

이 방침이 바뀌면 이 페이지에 바뀐 내용과 시행일을 게시합니다.

PhonePet Privacy Policy

Effective date: November 4, 2026 (previous version: October 31, 2026)

PhonePet ("the app") stores its data on your phone by default. From version 1.4.0, sign-in and pet sync are available as an optional feature. If you do not sign in, nothing is sent to the developer's servers, as before. Section 5 describes what is handled when you sign in. The app has no ads and no analytics.

1. Data stored on your phone

• Pet status: the name you give it, fullness, mood and cleanliness values, care count and days, when you started living together, the time of the last care, and when you tucked it in.
• Care history: when you cared for the pet, which button you used (feed, play, wash, snack, tuck in), and where (widget, app, or the cat itself).

This data is used only to show your pet in the app and is deleted from your phone when you uninstall the app.

2. Android backup

The app uses Android Auto Backup. If backup is on in your phone's settings, the data in section 1 is backed up to a private area of your Google account and restored when you reinstall the app or move to a new phone. Your phone maker's backup or device transfer features may also move it.

• The developer cannot open this backup.
• The backup may not be deleted right away when you uninstall the app.
• You can turn it off in your phone's backup settings.
• Information from the Accessibility Service and the motion sensor is not stored, so it is not in the backup.

3. Use of the Accessibility Service

When you turn on "Home Screen Walk", the app uses the Android AccessibilityService API so the cat can walk on top of the app icons and widgets on your home screen. This feature works only after you read the in-app disclosure, agree, and turn it on yourself in your phone's settings.

What the app uses

• The positions and sizes of app icons, folders and widgets on your home screen (launcher), to decide where the cat can stand.
• How far the home screen pages have been scrolled sideways, to know which page the cat is on so it can follow you or hide on another page.
• Whether the current screen is the home screen or the PhonePet app, so the cat hides when you open another app.
• The moment a new notification arrives, so the cat can be startled when a notification banner drops down.

What the app does not use

• The content of other apps' screens or anything you type.
• The title, text, or sender app of notifications.
• The app names written under your home screen icons.

This information is used on your phone only at the moment the cat moves. It is never stored, logged, or sent anywhere. The app never uses the Accessibility Service to tap, change settings, or perform any action on your behalf. You can turn this feature off at any time in Settings → Accessibility.

4. Motion sensor

Only while the cat is visible (on the home screen or in the PhonePet app, with the screen on), the app reads your phone's tilt (direction of gravity) so the cat slides when you tilt the phone or treats the new bottom as the ground when you turn it over. This value is used only at that moment and is never stored or sent anywhere. No permission is required.

5. Account and pet sync (optional)

If you sign in with an email address or a Google account under Settings → Account, your pet save is kept on the developer's server so you can change phones or raise the same pet on several phones.

• Email address: to identify your account, send verification codes for sign-up and password reset, and confirm deletion requests.
• Password (email sign-up only): stored only as a one-way hash, never in plain text.
• Google account ID (Google sign-in only): used only to recognize you. Your Google name and profile photo are not received, and tokens issued by Google are used for verification only and not stored.
• Pet save: all of the data in section 1 (the same content as the transfer code), used to keep your pet in sync.
• Sign-in sessions: to keep you signed in (expiry time). IP addresses and device details are not stored.
• Time you confirmed you are 14 or older.

To limit sign-in attempts, your IP address is used in server memory for one minute and is not stored. Information from the Accessibility Service (section 3) and the motion sensor (section 4) is never sent to the server; it is never stored, so it is not part of the pet save.

Retention: your account and pet save are kept until you delete your account and are deleted immediately when you do. Sign-ups whose email is not verified are deleted after 24 hours. Verification codes expire after 10 minutes, and sessions are deleted when you sign out or after 90 days of inactivity.

Deleting your account: in the app, Settings → Account → "Delete account", or without the app on the account deletion page using an email verification code. Your pet on the phone stays.

Processors: Supabase, Inc. (USA; database, data stored in Seoul, Korea), Amazon Web Services, Inc. (USA; server in Seoul, Korea), Google LLC (USA; Google sign-in and sending verification emails via Gmail, which may pass through Google servers outside Korea).

6. Permissions and Internet

• Accessibility Service: used only for "Home Screen Walk" described in section 3.
• Internet: used only for sign-in and pet sync in section 5. If you do not sign in, the app does not talk to the developer's server.

The app does not access contacts, location, photos, microphone, or camera. Information obtained through the Accessibility Service (section 3) will never leave your phone, even with online features.

7. Children

Children under 14 cannot create an account. Anyone can use the app without signing in, in which case no information is collected.

8. Your rights

You can view, correct, or delete your information or ask us to stop processing it at any time, in the app under Settings → Account or by email.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated policy and its effective date will be posted on this page.
